A polarising band.

I really like their positive vibes that their music brings and Chris Martin comes across as a humble and kind man.

used to really like coldplay and their music, but I think they have gone into a completely different genre from what they once were

True. Coldplay have some very cathartic stuff out there now. I kinda like it however. Kinda uplifting.

Chris Martin does speak very elqoquently n'all. He has some deep thoughts. Check this interview with Zane Lowe: [Link]

i remember it like yesterday. i was working overnight at a hospital. you did your work until 3-4:00am and then usually some time to kill. listening to a random radio station and i here in my place. look it up and here clocks. hooked. a brllliant band. seen them many times. great show. the bands will change over time. they're in a less commercial stage now. ok. but still brilliant.

Not a huge fan, but a lot of respect for them as artists.

Did really enjoy their 2011 Glastonbury headline set, after a trip to the pub and a couple of jazzy cigarettes mind you.

Also, aren't they all Millwall fans ?

Overall I'd say I wasn't a fan, but could pick out 3 or 4 of their songs which I would say I really love.

I can understand why they polarise opinion though, they are like Marmite.

Sh*t. Everything after their first two albums has been turd and even they weren't up to much. Releasing dance music and getting remixes from awful EDM 'DJs' is embarrassing.

I did a "conscious uncoupling" with them after their first album.

That said, they are obviously talented and appeal to the masses.

Parachutes was a decent album but they went downhill from there. A Rush of Blood To The Head was bloody awful and lately they seem comfortable with the 'radio rock' crowd, nothing original or noteworthy but ok to have on in the background whilst one works.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!
