I have thousands of family pictures on my PC and an external hard drive backup, but want to use off-site cloud storage as an extra backup for the precious pics. Can anyone recommend a low-cost or free cloud service which has good security and reliability, to store around 117GB of pictures and pretty much nothing else? Thanks

Do you really care about security if you're just storing pics (unless Mrs Seth is a game girl, of course ) I ought to know more about this, but sadly don't - I have a number of external 1TB drives instead (once you have one, you dump everything onto it then think "but supposing there were a fire and that one gets destroyed" ) so off site storage would seem ideal, as long as it's cheap Edited by npn (09 Dec 2015 4.13pm)

Flickr is ideal for photos. Loads of storage (1,000 gb), it is free and you can organise the photos make them private or public, create albums etc Edited by NickRobinson (09 Dec 2015 5.21pm)

I keep getting emails from "The KNOWHOW Cloud" saying my files will be deleted unless I pay them some money. I don't even know what files they would have, would you just ignore and let them delete? I don't know too much about it.
