6 Horses were seriously injured by scumbags attending this protest march.... one had a stick jabbed in it's eye FFS.

Hiding behind masks and the type of cowardly people that bleat about police brutality - they choose to attack horses that have no control over events and are beautiful creatures that do not deserve this treatment.

I expect we'll hear from the apologists again that's it's all the fault of the Tories imposing austerity and that Jeremy Corbyn's influence isn't encouraging these morons to act like this rather than peaceably campaigning to address problems like adults and in a democratic way?

FFS indeed. (There'll always be a few idots).

As for the protest, i'm all for it.

Time to move forward together.

Protests ALWAYS descend into violence though TUX.

The majority of people were wearing masks to hide their identity and allow them to carry out this mindless violence with impunity.

The student protests in 2010 saw one student throw a fire extinguisher off a roof into a crowded police cordon below and was lucky no one was killed.

Sadly it's not a few and it frustrates me that actions like this are always shrugged off in this way.

Because no one ever rioted before Jeremy Corbyn became Labour leader did they?

I saw the hysterical article in The Sun (whilst waiting at the chippy).

We do horses in our house so I have plenty of sympathy for them. But the article is drivel. I can see no sign of any of the horses being 'maimed' or other massively emotive words that were used. Leg cuts are common with horses, often as a result of them kicking themselves. The firework seems to have been the worst. Not great and potentially will have a longer term effect on the horse.

But the copper that was thrown off and broke his wrist is surely the worst affected. Nothing gets the public ire up like an animal abused. Which is why the odious Sun uses that headline as its battering ram.

The irony of the current civic unrest is that a police force that is getting royally f*cked up the arse by the ruling elite are the ones charged with protecting that same bunch of self serving c*nts .

If I was a copper I would be sorely tempted to join them

Here here Sash!!.... That's the irony of it.. The Police probably have more incentive to protest than most with how they are being treated but can't.

I'd love a one night only Police playing the part of the protesters and the students have to Police them... I think a lot of them would end up going back to white, middle class suburbia where they live and crying to Mummy!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I reckon the 'anarchists' should take a troop of horses next time to make it even, and see how the police treat theirs.

Laughable thread responses.

One could sum it up by saying that the Tory's are in power and as usual the noisy minority are throwing their dummies out of the pram about it.

I know, I'll let me mum take the pit bull out for a change while I go rioting. That will be a laugh. Oh and then i'll spend me benefit money in the pub afterwards.

So you agree with the paedophilia coverup and new snooping laws?

Also, it was a protest that took place in many cities around the world, so not influenced by the Tories being in power.
