What the f*ck is up with these shady corporate proposals at the moment? They seem to almost always be conducted behind closed doors, involve clauses that allow governments to be sued over loss of private profits, and basically act as a slap in the face to anyone who isn't a multi-billionaire w@nker?

First there was TTIP which is basically just a massive transferral of assets from the public to the private sector, with profits ensured through ISDS'. Then there's this which just enshrines copyright laws online and allows pharmaceutical companies to fleece us of even more money. Thankfully Wikileaks has got the issue in to the public domain and these tyrants are now subject to a modicum of accountability.

But let's focus on some kids chasing down a sports car instead eh. F*cking scum.

Welcome to the Corporate States of the United Kingdom, democracy has been subverted into a corporate agenda, in which you vote according to the selected illusion of influence and blame you desire.

Corporate takeover. Nobody cares about it because it doesn't relate to immigrants. It will still have a huge impact on peoples lives though despite them knowing f*** all about it.

I keep seeing scare stories on Facebook which link to dodgy blogs with bogus information like the fact that it's caused Canada to be sued over their actions against a drug firm it deemed to have financial irregularities. Inaccurate and has no relevance to TTP.

I would like to see more mainstream investigations however. One thing I repeatedly read is that MPs are confused by it. I certainly can't see the benefits where the only implications are corporations having power over our government but then the nature of internet activism is very anti-everything.

If it's a deal with the EU that's one more reason to pull out.
