Cheers for the heads up. The first series was one of the best comedies to be on for TV for ages. Series 1 is on iPlayer at the moment. Edited by Rubin (17 Oct 2015 12.35am)

I loved this, but ended up missing the last episode. Such a strangely compelling and heart warming 'lo fi' comedy. "One Nation Under God, has turned into One Nation Under the Influence of One Drug" [Link]

I wonder what underhand tactics Simon and Garfunkel will use in this series. Detectorists is very highly regarded in the Funt household. The guy with the imaginary dogs is a gem. Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
