man threatening to jump of building

In Wallington this morning saw this bloke who at one stage looked as he was gonna jump. Thankfully he didn't jump,well done the police for talking him out of it anyone else see this?

No, but I did once see a bloke hanging from a fire escape at the sports centre in Bracknell. There was nobody there to talk him out of it, but it was out of the way. At least he didn't jump in front of a train or lorry. I can't imagine the desperation that triggers a suicide decision.
