....Dead. Although in reality, she was dead when discovered. Kids with junkie parents have been dealt a pretty lousy hand. Or the dangers of bath tubs. Sounds like both her and her mother may have had a heart defect.

Well this tale of woe just goes to prove how dangerous drugs are and how they can get a hold of you before you know it.

Well this tale of woe just goes to prove how dangerous drugs are and how they can get a hold of you before you know it. Except of course the toxicity screen on Bobbi Krista Brown showed no evidence of drugs in her system. Her mother also drowned, but did have cocaine in her system, but that heart disease as big a contributory factor, and that death was likely more a result of the prescription sedatives in her system (an anti-histamine, an anti-anxiety drug and a muscle relaxant - as well as cannabis). Whilst Huston has recently used cocaine, she died as a result of drowning, rather than suffering a seizure. Personally, I'd say having three prescription drugs in your system that cause drowsiness and are sleep aids, are probably much more of a factor than the cocaine abuse (which tends to keep you awake). Drugs, dangerous, some definitely, and none are entirely harmless. But its important to show proportion and understanding rather than just jump to conclusions based on tabloid hysteria.

No but as Bobbi had no drugs in her system, it would probably be more likely that the connection between the two, if any, would be medical, rather than drug use. One of the big killers with drugs like cocaine and amphetamines, tends to be undetectable heart conditions, the same kind that kills atheletes, but most people can live without ever realizing (in 95% of cases). Like someone running a marathon, stimulants can put the human body under lot of pressure, especially the cardio-vascular system, ultimately turning a very low risk, undetectable defect, into a killer.

Famous people even in death tend to get the statements put out that they want, rather than the facts.

Whether or not she had drugs in her system.....Her world was destroyed by class A drugs. The culture of the junkie and drugs acceptance as 'ok', most definitely isn't a good idea compared to pushing no recreational drugs, healthy diet and exercise. Why don't people do more of that for a change rather than defending self indulgent pointless lifestyle choices that encourage the pathetic notion of escaping reality rather than accepting and getting on with it. So much for the 'greatest love of all'.......Immature and irresponsible parents.
