I found it bemusing that the radio news kept saying "some sad news in....", like it was going to be a big shock to the listeners, about a horse that fell over in a field.

This horse was a legend and died of a pelvic fracture training for dressage after a long racing history winning the Gold Cup twice.

I'm sure it was, but the way it announced was just odd. Mind you I feel that way when they put stuff in the traffic report about the north.

This is awfoal news. Crying has left me completely hoarse. I feel I've been saddled with a lot of emotions, which I'm going to have to rein in. I hope none of you stirrup any s*** in response to this post because I'm going to bridle if I hear anything offensive. That's all. I need to whip down to the shops now.
