Commemorative Stamp

A special set of commemorative stamps has been issued to mark the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta.

The £1.52 stamp has the legend: "gender equality and women's empowerment are essential components of human development and basic human rights".

I think the issuers might be getting confused with Ms. Magna Carter, chairperson of our local branch of the "Committee for Lesbian Action Now".

Sometimes before making statements, or stamps, people should at least read Wikipedia or say The Magna Carta.
