A thought, if you consider the result in Scotland and combine it with the result from the referendum it's pretty clear what the situation is. They'll talk up national pride and bang on about how much England screw them over until a serious conversation comes up and they admit that they need us all along. Conclusion? Country of moaning bottle jobs.

The Scottish? Bottle monkeys? Yes, just like the French and Italians. So, so similar.

They got fewer votes than for the Independence Referendum I can see a major fall out between Salmond & Sturgeon. Salmond, like Farage didn't want to let go and this is his way back. Edited by Y Ddraig Goch (08 May 2015 11.54am)

Edited by Y Ddraig Goch (08 May 2015 11.54am) She has done amazing well. After the humiliation of the no vote, you would have expected the SNP to do badly in the next election. It's amazing what a stylist and a sympathetic press (north of the border) can do for your image.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Or that they take stock in a government that actually has done well by them in terms of things like prescription charges, tuition fees etc, but don't actually want to see the UK break up. The SNP didn't succeed in Scotland because of National Pride, it succeeded because as a party it listened to the people of Scotland far more than Labour and the Conseravtives ever did, and represents issues that they find important. Nationalism is all well and good, but its not a pragmatic way of running a country. The SNP's popularity is much more to do with their politics than nationalism. They've even won in areas which aren't particualy nationalist.
