Spectacular start lads. Trott 0 KP gets 170 in his first knock for Surrey yesterday. Do one Moores, you're useless.

Ian Bell on form is majestic. Openers pathetic as usual, don't get Trott coming back and opening.

This is Bell's territory. Stokes was also wrongly overlooked for the world cup. Currently going at just shy of a run a ball, in a test match.

Good recovery. Get to 450+ tomorrow morning and it's most likely an opening win.

Great recovery by England but boy this West Indies team really does not compare with the teams from the past. I remember watching the Windies from the 1980's - now those guys could play cricket!

All three of those opening batsmen looked very uncomfortable though, just like last year.

disappointed with the team selection to be honest. Would like to have seen Finn and Rashid in at the expense of Jordan & Tredwell. Tredwell last year could not get into the Kent 4 day 1st XI, yet he is playing a test match for England. Rashid would have been a much more bolder selection, would be great to see a leg spinner playing for England - lets give him a chance against the West Indies rather then bringing him against the Aussies
