That may not be good but the removal of such a third rate economy from the Euro Zone may leave the way open for Turkey to enter.

Turkey as a state governed by a religious party with ministers for religion. Mad.

That's Greece well and truely f***ed for another another another another another another another generation. I feel sorry for the Greeks. Neither Austerity nor anti austerity is the answer for them and no one is bright enough, or willing, to acknowledge this.

Sorting out their tax collection infrastructure (or lack of it) is the only way forward.

Greece should never have been admitted and those who allowed it have never paid the price for it. Greece will probably have to leave the Euro zone.....Which in the short term will be disastrous for them. If they do leave.....with the fallout of that....I can see extremists eventually taking over who are even more nutty than this lefty bunch....... and even larger scale immigration. Longer term maybe the control over their own economy will enable them to be competitive and actually come out stronger. But only if they change their anti tax mindset.

Still, very intriguing seeing the rise of the left in Greece, Spain and (to a lesser extent) here with the Greens, all on the back of anti-austerity.
