Probably a silly thread but remember seeing an interview with him last year saying how much he loved palace for kick starting his career and when he came the end of his career he would love to come back for a season, seen di matteo saying he would like to keep him but feels he will go at the end of his contract this season. After all the bulls*** that comes out of everyone connected in football especially "he who shall not be named" comments. Could 1 of the most untrustworthy players in England be the 1 to actually commit to what he said. If and it is a big if we reach the prem next season, do you think cole may stay true to his word and play for us again??

I think the business model is more geared to infrastructure rather than the kind of wages Cole might expect.

I think a lot of you are struggling to grasp the fact that this isn't bout money. This is something he's said he's do as a thank you to the club which helped him in his early days, I completely agree we couldn't afford his wages off 100k! And I wouldn't want us to pay that money on anyone. This thread is more to do with what people spout out in interviews, e.g "he who shall not be named" comments pre mill wall. Can anyone's words be trusted? I think it's unlikely cole will follow threw on his words as surely a Chinese or Russian team will offer him a pay day, but at the same time how much noticed would be paid in the game by someone giving a struggling team (money wise) something they would never be able to afford as a thank you for helping him when struggling to break into the first team all those years ago

Lets think about this....... Maybe if we sacked the whole entire team. Then maybe, we could afford Cole. On topic: Did you see the women he has man handled whilst married to Cheryl? Come on....

what a great example to the younger players, one of the most prized examples of a despicable British modern day footballer.
