I've already explained this earlier in the thread. ALL the touting agencies have multiple season tickets to every London club if not every Premier League club. They get their tickets to the Cup Final totally legitimately, as season ticket holders. Do the maths: 1 season ticket = 500 quid Tout Chelsea, Man U, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City games for roughly 150 quid each = 900 quid Tout the other 13 homes games for, say, an average of 50 quid each = 650 quid Buy an FA Cup Final ticket for 45 quid, sell it for 450 = 405 quid profit. Total cost = 500 Now, multiply that by, say, the 20 season tickets you bought and your profit for the year is about 29,010 pounds. Not very hard to work out why some people choose to be touts. Show me where else you could invest 500 quid for that sort of return. Edited by sydtheeagle (17 May 2016 3.36pm) you're in dreamland if you think a Man U/Chelsea/Arsenal etc season ticket is £500 Edited by madcap_v2 (17 May 2016 5.01pm)

Ok so I went down the online website route and paid £700 for two category 4 tickets. Turns out I shouldn't have bothered as a guy at work has just offered me his and his sons who now can't attend (they are season ticket holders). Happy to sell these for a massive loss and would accept £450 if anyone is at all interested. Been a member on here for years and am happy to meet in central London on Friday or hand them over at Wembley.

But the resale value of their tickets is also probably the same percentage higher. The example I gave applied to Palace and Palace prices. I thought that was fairly obvious.

It would probably be easier just to get a job. No, it wouldn't and that's precisely the point. It takes you about one minute to buy a season ticket and if you advertise it on Stub Hub, one minute to list and one minute to collect the payment. Touting today (with the Internet) earns considerable sums of money for virtually no effort...certainly not 40 hours a week (and you don't even have a job interview to be able to do it.)

This post has been merged from a topic called '2 x Club Wembley Silver Block 249 @ £450 each' by Old Chap Actually, it's a pretty good offer n terms of the sale price being a lot closer to face value than paying 350-400 quid for a Cat 4 seat. No, I wouldn't want to sit in Club Wembley either but I would argue that price-wise, this is one of the better deals I've seen this week.
