I had forgotten about driverless vehicles, which will improve over the next few years too. There will not be much money in any type of driving in the future. F1 perhaps. Busses too.

I've been in certain areas of IT all of my life and there has never, ever been so much work around all over Europe and it's growing every year. Automation frees humans to do other things, such as innovate and innovation improves lives and creates the next level of employment. That's always been the case. Correct, only those that no one wants to employ (for various reasons) will volunteer to work in the UK, basically the dregs of the industry as there's plenty of well paid professional commercial driving demand in most European countries right now as the economies of most countries opened up weeks (sometimes months) ago before that of the UK creating a strong and healthy demand for qualified personnel. Edited by Orange1290 (25 Sep 2021 3.00pm) Why do you think this? Because the U.K. is the big bad racist infested country of Europe? 6m EU nationals ( and counting) seem to beg to differ with you. No one on these boards knows one way or another what will happen. Edited by Spiderman (26 Sep 2021 8.34pm)
