Yes we have every right but look no further than HRA as to why this rarely happens. Being allowed Appeal after appeal is a nonsense but great earner fir HR lawyers ( Cherie Blair take a bow). Agreed. This is all nonsense my understand is this. 1. My name is John Smith I come from Country A and I am claiming asylum for reason A. Rejected. 2. Sorry I meant to say I am John Brown from Country B and I am claiming asylum for reason B. Rinse and repeat. There is a simple solution to this which may require a law change. These people should not be allowed to make further claims that differ from their original claim e.g. changing country or reason for asylum.

I'm surprised that we are still allowed to ask where people are from. Funny how certain types are proud of their heritage and never stop banging on about it until they get asked the details by an old White person. Personally, I have never given less fuxx about what certain people think, and you can thank the current loony racial politics for that. It only results in resentment. Prince William just went down several points in my estimation, and he wasn't that high to begin with.

Pretty obvious what the intent was and therefore by deduction the views held by the particular individual as per reporting of the details of the conversation anyway.
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |

It was non acceptance of the answer and the pressing to know what the bloodline was, that was racist. It's a bit like me me answering "Cornwall", via all over the UK, but originally from Croydon and that not being enough because I had a French lapel badge and a French grandmother. Those things don't make me French. Stereotyping anyone because of their appearance has the potential to be racist. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (01 Dec 2022 1.38pm)

Quite frankly I think many of us have reached the point where we couldn't give a flying feck what the 'progressives', left, centralists, pretend right or anyone else thinks is 'racist'. These people have supported the fecking up of our societies and degraded them and then go around thought policing and speech policing people who notice it and have the balls to even mention it by using their supposedly morally superior hurty words. Well, I have some words for that too, but I'll refrain from gaining a yellow card this close to Christmas. Edited by Stirlingsays (01 Dec 2022 1.56pm)

I have been molten with anger, 'Spitting feathers' and in a state of apoplexy about the episode concerning the black lady and Lady Hussey with the latter being forced to resign for asking an innocent question about the heritage of the lady adorned in African garb. What on earth is 'Racist' about this ? Those who were subjected to my tirade this morning were concerned about my blood pressure as I was spitting out fury akin to hail of machine gun fire.

Not one of them will defend this woman or criticise this grifter.

"Where are you from" asked repeatedly. I have two problems with this: 1) It is so staggeringly ignorant not only in the failure to articulate one's self but also of any social or other awareness as to the offence caused by such questioning and it's manner. If anybody is questioning of the ignorance and lack of reality for these inbreds there it is in all it's glory. 2) It does seem to very much fall into the 'world is racist, white people are racist, England is racist and look how terribly victimised we are' espouser's playbook. My inclination would be that there are various other ways firstly around the interaction - it should have been quite clear what was so poorly being asked, just clarify it for said inbred to get past it/end what must be an excruciating fiasco, and secondly to air/ake public this grievance or noteworthy instance. Classic 'Out of touch, semi-conscious white imbecile meets ethnic minority spring loaded to snatch at anything remotely aligned to their view of the world being set up to persecute them along racial lines'. We may as well start running social events for neo-nazis and orthodox Jewish people as far as I am concerned and reporting on that. I could be wrong however, I don't know the whole kit and caboodle of it. Edited by Nicholas91 (01 Dec 2022 2.42pm)

I have little doubt there are issues of over sensitivity but having heard the lady describe the incident some balance needed. The event was to address sexual violence and abuse. What the feck has where her parents come from to do with anything? And by all means make a gentle request perhaps caveated with personal knowledge of Ghana or Nigeria or whatever. However her ladyship did not read the signs but was at the question like a dog with a bone. She proved that she had no touch with modern reality and an apology and redirection to a world more familiar to her like hunting would have done the job. The sack is outrageous.
