Normally every match thread will get 30+ pages regardless of the result. At this point I think most people have given up for the season.

Or maybe they haven’t got much to slag today. A depleted Palace gave Spurs more than a bit to deal with. Spurs had plenty to play for ,their touch line celebration showed how happy they were, with that result . That result wasn’t them prepared to rely on brinkmanship, there was to much to lose for that.

Or maybe they haven’t got much to slag today. A depleted Palace gave Spurs more than a bit to deal with. Spurs had plenty to play for ,their touch line celebration showed how happy they were, with that result . That result wasn’t them prepared to rely on brinkmanship, there was to much to lose for that.

I find it rather sad how some posters on here believe they have the moral high ground because we managed to squeeze one point out of the final 24 and 17 points out of the entire second half of the season scoring just 14 goals during that time. That is relegation form however you describe it. There is a lot to be done in 6 weeks if we are to stay up next season.

"Our squad is small, it is ageing, we have been playing some of the top teams in the country and it has been hard. I see this period as a necessary evil that we have had to go through. "Even if the intention and desire from the board is to spend some money and rejuvenate the team, whether it’s a possibility in the market is another matter. Unless we get help soon the job gets harder and harder. We need some players who can do what Harry Kane did for Tottenham today."

We are in trouble if we start the season with that squad.
