No from me, He'll have to retire soon anyway & to sack a manager who's kept us up this long deserves to see out his time! clearly the club need to add to the squad big time & off load some dead wood.

I’m 20+ years a fan at this point so seen a fair bit, the majority of that I would argue has been reasonably entertaining - to be clear I’m not talking about successful, just generally worth watching - I’ve never felt more resentful of spending money to watch us than I have this season. To approach a relatively meaningless home tie against a really weak XI the way we did yesterday is, in my opinion, not good enough. What other team in the division lines up with 3 defensive midfielders every single week? In what world do you approach an away tie with Liverpool the same as a home one against Burnley? There’s no clear plan that I can see to create chances outside of hoping Wilf or Ayew produce a moment, which has worked unsustainably for too long. Players go through woeful runs of form and get picked regardless, and we seemingly have nothing close to a plan B to change a game - something as simple as swapping the wingers flanks yesterday made a clear difference. I think those are all valid questions/criticisms, and the quality of our squad is not that bad that it justifies persisting with the same s***e. What were your feelings when we were playing open and attacking football under Pardew and losing 3-2 or 4-3 most weeks? Would you take that over steady Roy? Personally I don't think Roy is the problem (if you can call it a problem, we've comfortably survived again), we just seriously lack creativity. I'm surprised Townsend isn't playing more and I think I've finally come to terms with Meyer not being good enough.

So, the original question is "Is it time for Roy to Go, yes or no" YES NO Had an opinion but didn't answer the question So 12 yes, 11 no and 12 no specific answer. Not sure you can draw anything from that analysis, but it did kill 20 minutes :-) tbf i did offer an opinion, that the question is so knee jerk & predictable that its not worth going into much detail on. he keeps us up every year, we improve every year. i genuinely fo not know where some people get this sense of entitlement from. we do not have a squad capable of playing expansive football & win enough points to stay up we cant afford to buy the players to play expansive football & finish above mid-table roy has been a manager longer than I have been alive...i put my trust in him to do the best job he can with the tools available to him. I guess I have to answer no. It is the same old dilemma we have had for several years. We want to play with more open football. The problem is we currently do not have that type of team at present. With the uncertainty brought about for the transfer market by COVID 19 this I think would not be the time to make the change. With the players we have Roy should continue for the next season. In the meantime we have three transfer windows , this summer next January and next summer to bring in different type of players. If the board have any forward thinking they should be earmarking the manager they feel will complement the change in playing staff.

No He has just signed a new 1 year contract so he is clearly not going anyway. However, in the next 2 transfer windows we desperately need to get some younger signings in and address the imbalance in the squad - e.g a back up winger, a more attacking midfielder and a striker with pace are vital. Also, a younger coach to work with Roy now that Richard Shaw has left. Clearly Ray Lewington will go when Roy does, hopefully next summer with Palace in mid table

I'd say yes at the moment only because of his lack of changing tactics until the last minute, think most of us want our young blood to be given a chance to show what they can do Brandon Pierrick, Tyrick Mitchell, Sam Woods all with bundles of talent and play with no fear and the way we are playing can't be any worse!!

Either cash in or build team around him .We need to invest this summer no doubt or we will be relegated next year for sure.We have an ageing squad, looks like no real talent emerging from within and Roy has done well but not the future. From this moment on we need to upgrade and improve. Good points which could easily be quoted this time last year. Unfortunately we haven't addressed any of this over a year, particularly in relation to 2 transfer windows.

I go in the hope that I will enjoy an entertaining game with my club trying to score goals. That will never happen under Hodgson. This season we've scored 12 goals in 16 home games; last season it was 19 in 19 and that was only because 5 came in the last match. I want to see us using our own youngsters or buying players from the lower leagues rather than ageing has-beens or PL cast-offs like McCarthy. I'd honestly prefer to be in the Championship and enjoy games than watch this dirge under Hodgson every time. I gave up on watching entertaining football at Selhurst years ago . Around the time Pardew got the sack lol .That was probably the last time we moved the ball forward with any purpose yet there were many on here moaning about not getting results though the football was generally good .

Roy isn't entirely to blame for our last two poor performances. The ageing squad needs a major re-vamp and a bit of money spent. So answer is Yes if money is made available for a major squad upgrade. Or No if no money is available again as Roy might just keep us up for one more year. Sorry definitely not a simple Yes/No. Is Dyche available? Is there money?

Success breads complacency. Freedman has been clearing out the deadwood and getting in decent players. Roy seems to have avoided the transfer market as he knows it's something that could get him sacked. Since he's been hear we've got rid of Jordan Mutch, Lee Chung-Young, Sako, Souare, Williams, Puncheon, Cabaye and AWB. Cabaye and Puncheon were quality but ageing. We've done nothing to replace them, what makes you think he's going to do a decent job replacing anyone else. The rest were deadwood. Sure we got £45m for AWB, but hodgson got two seasons out of him. We've also aquired Guatia, Sakho, Cahill, Kouyate, McCarthy, Sorloth, Ayew, Mayer and Banks. Plus Reidewald was signed for £10m by FDB. BFS and Pardew emptied the coffers the season before he joined, but Thompkins, Luka, PVA, and Schlupp (plus Benteke) are all expensive improvements on what went befor them On the whole, he's probably got a better squad now than any other manager since we've been in the premier league. Having Batshuari or RLC would be nice, it was a shame about Tosun's injury.

Roy hasn't had us close to relegation in three seasons despite inheriting a car crash in 2017 and losing a £50m defender without replacement. You were on these boards in February saying you couldn't see us winning another game.
