I'd have been extremely disappointed if you hadn't. Have you considered composing a treatise on the relative merits of Premier League hospitality suites you've sampled?

With respect, this 'Thread' is veering away from the subject matter so I don't wish to steer it even further off course.

I was mentioned in relation to Bournemouth, hence my original comments.I believe that it is in the interests of HOL that the discussion return to the actual game itself.

I'm sorry, but the public need to know.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Along with real evidence of a purported visit to Willie Thorne’s snooker club in Leicester...

Further slurs besmirching my honesty and integrity based on no foundation whatsoever.

I can assure you I WAS present in Willie Thorne's snooker club in Leicester in the 80s.

I shall refrain from responding to any further slurs as such exchanges only serve to de-rail the 'Thread'.

I think we will get to see him. I think Roy simply wanted to keep the run (winning and not conceding) going. The 3 points we earned mean we really can start to look up the table rather than what is happening below us. Roy has already said that there will be opportunities for the youngsters during the run in.

Think Tavares will "only take a minute" to impress :

fantastic start to the game and for once an early goal: fully justified.

credit to Roy - he has the team set up and raring to go unlike a couple of other teams. Arteta hang your head in shame.

listening to the post match interviews i think that the lack of a crowd was helpful for the team's effort to stay tight in the 2nd half. the players could speaking and be heard.

my only gripe is: why oh why doesn't Roy use the subs...i guess the players are still very fresh and should be able to cope. still...

Arsenal actually looked very slick and skillful and created numerous opportunities to easily get a result, Brighton were very fortunate.

..same for their attack lol, Brooks showed moments where he managed to ruffle a few feathers with his pace and movement but our defending was given a helping hand because his teammates were not prepared for the game at all until well into the second half by which time Brooks had to be replaced with cramp due to game fitness.

Seems that only Willo will miss Bournemouth as he clearly thinks highly of them.

I'll miss Bournemouth too. I'm not sure why you dislike them so much, perhaps a suiter from the region didn't approve of you?

Anyway, I like Eddie Howe. He's as loyal to his club as much as can be. He doesn't play park the bus like strategies (which is rare for non-top-6 clubs). He hasn't had a ton of money but has done very well with it. Their stadium is tiny, so no money from that.

They've done pretty well on a limited budget.

Now I listed to AFTV yesterday and (despite it being Brighton), the whole conversation was how could we lose to them?

Have we ever said that? Has Bournemouth ever said that? No.

So you may hate Bournemouth and probably like Arsenal, but I'm the opposite.

BTW, praying for West Ham and especially Watford to go down.

I think they did break ffp rules when they got promoted. But paid the fine and everything was ok I guess! Plucky little cherries.

I don't dislike Eddie Howe as such, but I do think people get taken in by the boyish looks. He's performed wonders at Bournemouth, but he's run out of ideas now and I think he and the club need a fresh start.

'' limited budget '' - hardly. They spunked £19m a piece on Jordan Ibe and Dominic Solanke - and their net transfer position in season 18/19 was minus £62m !

I've noticed also that their players look to have been well coached in throwing themselves to the floor at the slightest contact.

And I will never forget Arter's pre meditated assault on Wilf a few years ago. They have since upgraded on Arter with Jefferson Lerma ( at a cost of a mere £25m ), he likes to dish it out but can't take it when it's done back.

I'll miss the trip to Bournemouth if they do go down, and I'd much rather Watford and/or Brighton went, but I have long since moved on from seeing Bournemouth as some plucky little under resourced club - cos they ain't !
