Respect the point and after the error we could have lost the game but our keeper played a blinder.

Anyway it did me a favour no need to go out and buy some Senokot problem solved.

Conceded goal was gutting but 4 points from the last two is good going.

Onwards and upwards Norwich on New Year’s Day next!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Im afraid no matter how good a point is away we gave that to them,
they were doing nothing till we give them a goal from nothing which woke them up

Yes, precisely ...we seem to do this passing along and around the back with opponents chasing like it's some celebratory tea party, I will never understand it

Roy seems to never use our subs very much.

Unfortunately Palace almost never have a game won (or lost) by several goals with 20-25 to go and we always seems to be hanging onto a point or a one goal lead.

There never seems to be a good time to use the subs. Problem is Roy flogs his starting 11 almost without change and I reckon fatigue is not helping the injury run we are having.

Players without much match time then come into the starting 11 rusty and not match fit and we wonder why injuries are happening - e.g Riedelwald.

Disappointing error from Kelly but overall a point I can respect away from home against an in-form Southampton side. We can continue our good form into the new year against Norwich.

Well done to the players who don't start often but have shown they can come in and do a job when needed - Jairo (glad you could run off that injury) and McCarthy both very good today.

Meyer was okay but it seems, our tactics/mentality are to play it to Zaha, so the ball rarely made it onto his side. But took his strike well (even though is was ruled out) and is a good passer. Hope he gets more opportunities.

We scored two goals today, one though apparently 1mm offside because of Zaha's stupid fingernail!

The Mail on Sunday article a couple of moths back highlighted that VAR could only be accurate to a margin of error ranging anything from 13cm minimum up to potential 38.8cm!!! (due to freeze technology and judging when the ball was played). This is just a farce when they are examining it to such a microscopic degree.

Also working out where to draw the lines is done by a human and not technology so yet further room for error!

How you can decide when the ball was played, where wilf’s shoulder ends and arm begins EXACTLY and where that is in relation to a boot with a margin of error of up to almost 39cm is a flippin joke and VAR is ruining the game in its current form and interpretation.

Re Kelly, it was perhaps a lapse in concentration caused by fatigue.
He’s been such a fantastic servant for Palace - brave and determined - that I would never call him out. Considering all the times he has saved us with heroic last-ditch defending, let’s not be in too much of a hurry to put the boot in with unkind words. For 99.9999 per the cent of the time, he’s Mr Reliable.

Riedewald, Guaita, Tomkins excellent today. Most of the others good solid performances. Yes it was a waste of 2 points but harsh on Kelly as it was a rare error for him this year.

Big decision on the VAR went against us but, having said all that, we got a draw at a venue we normally feck it right up so can’t be too unhappy.

Three points against Norwich or even a point and we will say we had a decent Xmas programme.

You beat me to it. Kelly has stepped up on many occasions and always gives 100% for Palace. Costly mistake, but it was bound to happen to someone due to the high volume of games and concentration required.

Hey, a draw against a team that beat Chelsea a few days ago is no shame.
