So explain that then, how exactly has Roy made our team play as bad as you've ever seen before, we are in the best placing that we have ever had in this league, if we had won today which we surely should have we'd be eighth and ahead of Man.U, everyone is nuts this evening totally and completely nuts lol

..some of our interchange passing around their box today was quite exquisite, I enjoyed watching us today, too many people on here are cross because they let the result influence the performance that they have witnessed.

Yes. That’ll be the job where he came in after we were nearly relegated under Pardew and Allardyce and Frank the Plank had done his best to make sure we gave the entire league pre-season and a four game head start.

Two seasons without a serious relegation battle and little spend. Terrible.

Just back from a good stream .....
Sad about the marking for their goal but I was really happy with the performance especially given the injury situation. Their keeper made some great stops after we worked some clever openings. Even Tekkers seems to be increasing his contribution.
I would have been reluctant to make substitutions as we were dominating for long periods.
So for me, my cup is half-full. Despite the result I think the team played well and Roy managed to field a team that was worth at least a draw.

Many on here are never going to be happy with anything Roy does .... my opinion ... they are welcome to theirs of course.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

I suspect that some supporters are in a hissy fit, because yet again we have failed to deliver in front of goal and 16 goals in 18 PL games speaks volumes.

Hodgson's striking options are strictly limited and at the end of the day one can only micturate with the male genital organ one possesses.

I’ve not seen the game but don’t understand the 20/20 hindsight and clamour for subs when, by all accounts, we were on top and creating chances after soaking up Newcastle’s inevitable first half pressure.

This is pretty much my view. We never seem to get much at Newcastle although I haven't checked the stats so with a weakened team I think we did okay and should have got a point.

I am expecting reinforcements to arrive on 31 Jan so it will be a bonus if we see new faces before that.

There seems to be a few male genital organs on here.😂

Going into the game I would have been happy with a 0:0 result, (Respect the point as Sam used to say)
collecting no new injuries & no suspensions along the way - Watched the game on the laptop and as many have said we were the better team (albeit with depleted resources) - for me the one black mark was the similarities between today's conceded goal, the Liverpool winner & the Brighton goal - all 3 of them were scored by an unmarked player receiving a knockdown about 8 yards from goal & that player having the time to smash it into the net

All those managers excluding Frank you listed had a better record at Palace then Roy currently has.

yes the striking options are limited but whats the point have a type of striker and not using them to their strengths this is what Roy is doing with Benteke plus he is not even interested in giving Connor any game time.

Looking at it Pardew and Roy are just the same only thing different is one is focused on attack the other defense
