Ofer family are fabulously wealthy I worked for a company that was a supplier to one of their companies. Very well run, very competitive and certainly didn't waste money. Will expect a return on any money spent. They look after their employees though, had very loyal staff.

While we have the current owners we will keep making these decisions because it’s financially cheaper in the very short term than releasing them and buying new players (forwards).

And what would you consider that level to be? Top 10? Could be challenging for that this season. Top 6? I'd imagine a 100million spend (without any short term return) plus another hundred mil in wages would be required to even come close to that.
Or maybe you mean the very top? Lets do a City eh? That would cost 100M every season for 5/6 seasons to even get close to. Face it, for a club of our size there is no 'next level'. The investment required to get us regularly further up the table doesn't just require a billionaire, it requires a Billionaire who is bonkers, round the bend nuts!

….and this is before we have sorted a new Main stand that will not only cost over 100M but even if its completed the Whitehorse and the Arthur are desperately in need of redeveloping and the Holmesdale isn't exactly a young stand anymore either!In just over 5 years time it'll be 30 years old.

The next level for Palace is to be what we are but with a stadium, all-round infrastructure, and finances to match. And that's a 15-year project if we're incredibly successful on and off the pitch.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
