This is another quality I love of the left. That they are intellectually superior to the right. That the right are brainless droogs, sucking up whereas the left are free thinking. Basically, it's bollocks. The left on here have proved countless times that they have, at best, a poor understanding of government and the financial world. Plus the left believe any old tosh that some weirdo thinks is fact that is put in independent blogs. You may assume what you want, and you do that a lot. However, the truth is very different from the product of your prejudiced mind. And I welcome replies to my posts, especially ones from your sort. They fill me with an inner joy that I am not one of your sort.

So poor that they maxed out the countries' credit card, blamed it on America, then left the Tories to sort out their mess. History does repeat itself it seems. In your your world where the tabloid lies of rich tax dodgers out weight evidence, it is the case with an unshakable certainty.

Well Hoofy your main information source is the Daily Express. I have decided it would be unfair to engage with you. I don't mean to offend you, but the only way I can put his is that you are basically stupid. I honestly believe that. I might be over stepping some politically correct rule and you may well have a carer

It's striking how when questioned, both you and the other 'virtue signallers' on here forget their self defined higher intellect and self promoted highly developed compassionate personas and launch into petty, meaningless insults.

And aren't the Tories doing a cracking job 'sorting it out'? All now live in great prosperity, ambrosia and honey grace even the poorest table, and all are amply rewarded for their hard work. Oh, wait, no. The Tories have destroyed public services in the name of cutting the deficit, made the economic situation no better (arguably worse), and enabled tax breaks for the very richest in society. Here's to 4 more years of them 'sorting it out!'

Here's to 4 more years of them 'sorting it out!' I don't like the Tories anymore than you, but they are probably doing their best sorting out Labour's dreadful mess. The situation is what it is, you can't polish a turd. All the Tories have done is try and reign in the ludicrous level of spending and profligacy that Labour sanctioned. The level of spending on benefits and some services are totally out of control. Labour should never be allowed in power again. If you seriously think we could carry on the way we were then you're totally deluded. Some of the cuts don't go far enough. Edited by fed up eagle (24 Apr 2016 11.58am)

I might be over stepping some politically correct rule and you may well have a carer and probably can't wipe your own arse. But enough is enough. Hahaha I'm getting to you that is obvious, but my work is not done. When you completely abandon your one trick pony strategy of blaming everything that is wrong on right wing newspapers I will stop. Change the record Bert! And for your information... I have got a carer... she's called my wife... and she helps me to cope with Parkinson's and other mobility related ailments that I have. Luckily for you I'm not the type to report your childish abuse to a moderator even though it was quite insulting and not called for even if you meant it as a joke or "banter" and didn't realise I had my problems. EDIT: Having gone away and reflected more on your post it is obvious to me that you correlate intelligence with a person's ability to wipe their arse? If that is the case then I am offended on behalf of Stephen Hawking who is arguably the world's most intelligent living man, but clearly fails on arse-wipe functioning. Luckily for me, arse-wiping is still a talent I possess.... but I know not of the future given my condition is deteriorating sharply. Maybe you ought to reflect on your view of the disabled person and his/her ability to think cognitively.... ...and then maybe offer an apology to me and Stephen and any other disabled persons you have offended. We'll leave matters of the economy aside, because their views are based on a vehement adherence to a specific system, but at least they stick to them. It's the selective support for democracy and freedom of speech which need to be highlighted. Then of course you have this ethos of looking after 'the people' another area of great subjectivity, a group whose members are carefully chosen to consist purely of those deemed worse off, with everyone more prosperous painted as the villain, even the tradesman who no longer needs representation among the 'workers'.
