Its debatable whether they actually are terrorists, given that the UN allows for resistance to occupation. 'Attacks' by Palestinian Terrorists seem to result in far less civilian casualties than 'Just Reprisals' from the Israeli state. Until it became a political necessity to do so, the US State Department did not regard acts of political violence in the occupied territories, or against the Israeli state as acts of terrorism. Total bollocks. They are terrorist attacks and make no mistake about it.

So how far are we allowed to criticise violent and hawkish Israeli policy at home and certain elements' within their society theft of other peoples land before being branded anti-semitic? I don't really go in for defending civilian and child-killers you see but if I'm thought of as some kind of Nazi for speaking out against it then i'd better watch my goose-step.

Ah, the good old race card! Criticising Israel and its actions is no more ant Semitic than criticising Saudi and its actions is anti Islamic. There is, of course, a line to be trod carefully, that criticism of states doesn't spill over into criticism of peoples. In the same way that "Saudi behaviour is barbaric" is acceptable, "Muslims are barbaric" is not.

I'm not really interested in what anyone says when they reduce it to generalisations about huge groups of people, and really hate it when I realise I've done it myself.

I see no difference between the actions of the Israeli state and the actions of Palestinian armed groups. Or between the Syrian Rebels and the Syrian Loyalist factions. Other than we're politically more aligned to one group over the other.

Racist. Better than Anti-Semitic. Although when people refer to being anti-Jewish as being anti-Semitic, are they being anti-Semitic by excluding Arabs as Semites.

Here we go Loobey Lou!! That's just a f**k**g cop out! Jesus, wept, child killers? Are you sure? 'well they murder baaaayybeeees and old Laydeeeeees' is the usual argument of the loonie left. Israel are threatened by all sides, including a potentially nuclear Iran. The arabs certainly aren't blameless in all this and you know that. Anyway aren't you contradicting yourself? You're saying it's alright to be anti-semetic because of what you perceive to be going on in the middle east yet when people speak out against the Islamonazis you brand them goose stepping, swivel eyed racists. You're argument is f**k**g weak. Edited by fed up eagle (28 Apr 2016 11.26am)

Other than we're politically more aligned to one group over the other. So you think that Palestinian individuals stabbing Israeli individuals in, for the sake of argument Tel Aviv, is not terrorism? It happens in the name of 'the cause'. What you are doing is romanticising the indiscriminate actions of violence. And well done for turning this into another Israel/Palestine debate whilst burying the original topic.
