The Turkish government seems like they support isis .
Turkey do have a lot to answer for, particularly in their aggressive position against the Kurds, who are one of the major forces preventing IS from spreading further into Northern Syria and Iraq. But few nations have more to fear from IS than Turkey, given that IS follow a prophetic line which explicitly mentions retaking Istanbul. Oh, and of course we could go in to the fact that IS are a far greater threat to Shia Muslims than to white Christians, or the fact that in Yemen IS bombed a mosque full of Zaidi Sunnis as well, or the fact that every single group on the ground fighting IS are predominantly Muslim. But then I guess it's much easier just to be a racist isn't it? Just when did Muslim get classified as a race ? Sorry mate your talking shyte, on the one hand you claim Hoof is ignorant, then you proceed to accept what a bunch of b******s they are to the Kurds ? Make your mind up time. I believe that It is now granted the same status as Jew, and has for at least 10 years. The legislation exists both in the UK and EU.
Muslim/Islam is no more a race than Jedi Kinight. Also I second Hoof comments, the wet lettuce hand ringing liberal types on here don't know there arse from the elbow, I also urge them to Fcuk off and troll elsewhere. Edited by dannyh (25 Nov 2015 8.50pm)
Yours or mine ? You are not born a Muslim,Christian, or any other religion you become one, I suggest you and your ilk return to the dictionary and look up exactly what the term means, in fact look up racist as well should put you and a few others stright. Muslims like Sikhs and Jews are religious groupings. Perhaps out of the three Sikhs are closest to being a single race. So now your saying Muslims are not a race ? make your mind up. Try the Human Rights Act 1998 or the Race Relations Act 2000. I would assume the above would be your favourite bedtime reading, so would have hoped you have actually read them, The human rights act does not state that religion is to be considered "race" nor does the race Relations Act. Sorry to have to correct you again but its the Race relations Act 1976 Amendment 2000. I would suggest reading "From race to religion : The new face of discrimination". Why would I read a book that by the title alone Proves my point, It is saying that religion is fast becoming a larger factor in discrimination, than race historically has been. So (arguabley) ISIS and other nut job muslims are unifying the rest of the world in a joint hatred of the most backward religion on Earth regardless of previous predjudice over skin colour. So in that respect well done ISIS, If their goal was to bring the rest of the known world togther in it's hatred of them whilst forgeting years old predjudice against each other, then they are doing marvelously
LOL what a cluster f*** of a post.

Hard to choose what thread to put this in... More and more details are coming to light revealing that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, variously known as ISIS, IS or Daesh, is being fed and kept alive by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President and by his Turkish intelligence service, including MIT, the Turkish CIA. Turkey, as a result of Erdogan’s pursuit of what some call a Neo-Ottoman Empire fantasies that stretch all the way to China, Syria and Iraq, threatens not only to destroy Turkey but much of the Middle East if he continues on his present path. In October 2014 US Vice President Joe Biden told a Harvard gathering that Erdogan’s regime was backing ISIS with “hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of tons of weapons…” Biden later apologized clearly for tactical reasons to get Erdogan’s permission to use Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base for airstrikes against ISIS in Syria, but the dimensions of Erdogan’s backing for ISIS since revealed is far, far more than Biden hinted. ISIS militants were trained by US, Israeli and now it emerges, by Turkish special forces at secret bases in Konya Province inside the Turkish border to Syria, over the past three years. Erdogan’s involvement in ISIS goes much deeper. At a time when Washington, Saudi Arabia and even Qatar appear to have cut off their support for ISIS, they remaining amazingly durable. The reason appears to be the scale of the backing from Erdogan and his fellow neo-Ottoman Sunni Islam Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu. Nice Family Business The prime source of money feeding ISIS these days is sale of Iraqi oil from the Mosul region oilfields where they maintain a stronghold. The son of Erdogan it seems is the man who makes the export sales of ISIS-controlled oil possible. Bilal Erdogan owns several maritime companies. He has allegedly signed contracts with European operating companies to carry Iraqi stolen oil to different Asian countries. The Turkish government buys Iraqi plundered oil which is being produced from the Iraqi seized oil wells. Bilal Erdo?an’s maritime companies own special wharfs in Beirut and Ceyhan ports that are transporting ISIS’ smuggled crude oil in Japan-bound oil tankers.

I'm guessing his/their drone strike has been cancelled due to sharing the spoils with the right companies. Unless we can cut off the funding and establish as means of ground engagement with IS (probably by proxy) the best that can be achieved is containment. The Russians might be right in backing the Assad horse with a Kurdish independence, as it lacks the unpredictability of the Rebel factions (which more than likely would end up fighting among themselves). But its a bitter pill to swallow. The problem is that most of the middle East doesn't want to be a liberal (when convenient) western facing democracy

You're becoming a bit of a troll/nause. Well done Hoof Turkey is indeed a muslim country but you fail to understand the bigger picture
It is astounding that all of you have been quick to point out the various different factions of Islam as though it was a massive secret and that you were enlightening the rest of us with your wisdom. The best thing is that my original comment was a tongue-in-cheek jibe designed to wind you lefties up... fcuk me.... it worked better than I could have hoped for. However... Despite the different types of Muslim factions that there are in the world, I doubt that it matters much when you hear "Allahu Akba" and are facing a hail of bullets as you go about your business.... I doubt many enquire as to what tranche of Islam their attacker is affiliated to when running for their lives or being blown up or beheaded. Enjoy the video.... Well you appear to of wound yourself up hence the name calling and starting another thread. Also in the process you’ve made yourself look really thick (again).
You have no other strategy but to make it personal and try to belittle anyone who doesn't agree with you. You are the one looking really thick (again).

We are safer because it is difficult to move weapons and other materials from the continent to our shores. However.... whether we bomb Syria or not, there are plenty of wannabe suicide bombers prepared to give it a go here and will succeed eventually. Despite that though Oliver and EverybodyDannsNow will be still be laughing at my warnings.
