They might be a bit peeved that we don't want to be in their club anymore, but I think its dawning on them that they need us as much as we need them.

All the paperwork that UK companies complain about to export to the EU also applies in reverse however up to now we have not implemented it on our side so the EU has had an easy ride. I believe that from October we will start doing so hopefully common sense will prevail and a more sensible approach will be taken by both sides.

Southern water cut out the middle man and just pump it in to the sea off kent, the bathers around Margate dont appreciate it but it makes financial sense for southern water so whats not to like?

It's a decent criticism but it's really not particularly Brexit or EU related. That stuff goes on everywhere, unfortunately. Nearly always issues with capacity and infrastructure. And the billions that would cost to upgrade. No water charges in Ireland - that's one thing. Water quite a lot in the UK in some places is it?

Lorry driver shortages have also have been blamed on EU workers leaving the UK following Brexit as well as during the pandemic and tax changes making it more expensive for drivers from elsewhere in Europe to work or be employed in the UK."
