I'm sure that's a factor but he's also attacked elements of the alt right for anti semitism.....so not really. Robinson is just pro Israel, though obviously he prefers right wing ones. There isn't a consensus on the dissident right about Israel.....It's only those obsessed with Nazis who push that. That section exist but we are talking about a large group here with varying commitments to varying ideas. The dissident right is eclectic, like most political groups that aren't an actual party. Obviously its opponents aren't interested in nuance. Edited by Stirlingsays (28 Nov 2019 11.06am)

Eg I'd happily punch yer smug (non leather) sandal wearing liberal in the guts just for the fun of it (if it were not for the fact that they are a non existent cliche). Any way us middle grounders take comfort in the thought that all right wingers are angry dimwitted and passionately hate all people who aren't EXACTLY like them. It makes the soya decaffeinated cappuccino slip down so much better.

Regarding the recent bus attack with those two lesbians photographed with bloody faces......Well, the verdict is in....here is the BBC's take. What I find troubling about this article is that it omits the details of what happened here in favour of focusing upon the verdict.....which I think is so so...well as reported anyway. These teenagers are obviously arseholes and I'd say they do deserve some community work.....however they didn't start the physical confrontation that resulted in their injuries. The blonde walked to them and started hitting one in the face, then they were beaten up. The footage shows this. They could have got off, they weren't being blocked. The article completely omits this. Also comments made by this couple were clearly manipulative in the national press and didn't detail their part in this violence. The BBC's journalist plays along and the nuance of what happened is omitted. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 Nov 2019 1.34am)

The BBC enlarging the 'diversity industry' again.....it's completely ridiculous.....What the feck is a 'director for creative diversity'.....other than....errr..just don't employ white people and pat people who aren't white on the back. This is anti white social engineering with public money. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Dec 2019 4.10pm)

Our Kirsty MacColl and Shane McGowan ''the Fairytale of New York'' now under attack by the lefty fruitcakes at the BBC. It seems some of the lyrics offended the little luvvies and darlings. People who have less sense of humour than a filing cabinet at the Soviet Communist Party.

This article is disgusting. It's beyond fecking words.....She's a murderer and they soft focus it. If that had been a man who had murdered an emotionally abusive woman this article would never have been written.

Johnson now hinting he might cancel the licence fee, Boris you are such a tease if only I believed you. I suspect that the Tories if they win will use this threat to force the BBC to fund the over 75 pensioners, the BBC will agree reluctantly and the threat goes away. The government may also decriminalise non payment of the license fee some 25% of local court time is taken up with this. To be honest the BBC's position has been underminded by their own actions. Their basic argument is that they are an independent public broadcaster and should not carry advertising or subscription as this will jeopardise their neutrality / independence. So having put forward their need to remain above the nasty commercial world the BBC then happily allows advertising on it's website outside of the UK, adverts on its TV services outside the UK and a subscription service for BBC America. Plus it has a commercial arm selling programs etc around the world. And now the BBC has launched Britbox in the UK which is a commercial subscription service selling the poor old punter old TV shows which we have already seen and paid for. Now you could argue that the BBC is simply preparing itself for the inevitable but it does undermine their basic arguement. The big money in advertising is from global corporations. If you don't want to accept adverts from the Costapacket Coffee Corporation in the UK because you are running an investigation into their dodgy practices why do you accept them outside of the UK. However the BBC wants to run with the fox and the hounds a bad strategy and one which will eventually come unstuck. Edited by Badger11 (10 Dec 2019 8.26am)
