Or perhaps a third option for the most stupid? Those who are so blind they can't see the wood from the trees and say in relation to a discussion about benefits/negatives of multi culturalism, things like that the benefits of living in a more multi-cultural society as shown by our cuisine, such as "indian" food becoming one of our "national dishes",as an example are of no relevance whatsoever

Right, lowered wages, competition for jobs, housing crisis and occasional terrorism - all worth it if we can buy a Chinesse takeaway or pitza.

Your overview of the overall benefits of a multi cultural society to the UK since say the 1950's might seem to some to be as skewed as your spelling of pizza

We invented the Tikka Masala...

"We" did indeed."we" being Brits. The Brits in question being of Bengali origin.Pleased to see they count as "we" for you rather than non Brits.

Though some say chicken tikka massala was basically an evolution of "butter chicken", "invented" in India.

You mean the thoroughly unsavoury (no pun intended)President of S Africa?

Little known fact: Unbelievable I know, but some suggest that because Zuma is an thoroughly unsavoury character ,this means all of a different race here or abroad are to be regarded as unsavoury.

That's silly.

Every dish is an evolution of a previous dish.

Please avoid calling people c**ts, even if they are condescending. I'll let this slide, provided no one actually reports it - but it is technically a yellow card offence.

Pretty much the same as saying its an evolution of butter chicken, its simple semantics.

You made a non point about dish origins.

Being British means having your home here and having had the state accept that reality.

Having some genetics that come from aboard doesn't mean you can't be British......I don't know anyone who has made that point.
