The point of the movie is about the futility of gang crime and is no more pro violence than say Rambo or any other white movies. Its pathetic that is is being banned when its only a 15 rating and telling an innercity story. I can think of loads of questionable films that should on this curernt basis, but were not banned at the time...eg clockwork orange...
So a group of like minded individuals who obvuisly agreed to go watch the movie tooled up because the movie feature ganf violence then banned but had they done this watching Frozen 2 then no calls for the movie to be banned. Still they are trying to suggest that films make people go out and commit crime...what about the papers and the tv then.

So anyway two movie mult-complexes ban it...therefore feeding the interest and "accidentally" promoting the film Ha Ha !

It wasn’t the source of the violence, that’s a link which has been entirely made up - I wonder why?

Is London gang culture the only type of violent culture which, when depicted in a movie, causes anyone to pick up a knife and stab someone? It’s amazing all those other violent films don’t do the same.

Reminder about Voting.

Some idiot shared a picture of their postal voting slip on social media tonight.

Folks it is illegal to photograph your ballot paper so please do not do it whether it's a postal vote or you are in the polling station. No photography otherwise Inspector Knacker of the Yard maybe feeling your collar.

And on the subject of voting the old "why do they use pencils" urban myth will no doubt come up again. It's not so the staff can erase your vote and change it that is rubbish.

You can bring and use your own writing instrument if you want although technically it is illegal, staff have been told to let it go.

If you use a pen and the ink is not dry when you fold the paper it is possible that the ink transfers so the paper has 2 crosses. In other words this is for your benefit not some sinister conspiracy.

If either of these 2 points come up in your company please clarify them I have been surprised the number of people who didn't know this.

One more point

There were similar concerns about The Warriors in 1979. The difference being that back then Disney films didn’t carry warnings and bans weren’t the only solution proposed for anything people found objectionable.

Isn't Robinson's support for Jews largely limited to the support for Israel given their aggression against Islamic neighbours?
