Worth every bit of sitting watching the whole thing in one go. I couldn't help but tear up all the way through. What a team we support! Such a special team and special fans.

I would be interested to see a similar documentary on the last two seasons, at least with regard to Dougie’s role.
The early episodes of this series make Dougie appear clear sighted in terms of identifying players and their role in the team.
And largely this proved extremely successful, at least in the Championship.
I don’t want to revisit old ground with Roy’s use of players , but clearly the addition of Sorloth, Meyer, Batshuayi and Camarasa didn’t work out and have never really looked like they would with any consistency.
Expensive loan fees and wages have been involved.
There seems to be a disconnect from what the manager was prepared to utilise and what he was given in terms of offensive players.
I just hope there is not a similar disconnect with the new manager.

Something poignant in the first two episodes. I guess it is the optimism and joy after the darkness that preceded it.

It would be lovely to have that feeling again.

I guess now we're among the favourites for the drop, like we we were when we got promoted...

What pisses me off is after the amount of money we’ve had we shouldn’t be among the favourites to get relegated after 8 seasons and £1.2bn quid.

So .. A few days back my Mrs and me watched the trailer.. She isnt a massive football fan but when that amazing occasion with the fans outside Selhurst and later at Lloyds bank came on we were transfixed..
It had gone very quiet as we watched and when it was finished she looked round with serious tears in her eyes at me and I was Blubbing...
A sixty year old bloke blubbing like some kid watching Bambi... You know something ? I am not ashamed to admit that because this is an amazing club to support and love... From Shrewsbury to Mansfield away,, From Cambridge united with our punk firm to Orient.. The days were always special and normally a bit pissed up.
Nicked at Cardiff away and getting a massive £200 fine and bound over for two years..
Then we got to Wembley in the ZDS cup .. Ok not the champions league final but it was our day and mate did we turn Wembley Red and blue...
Club facing liquidation.. I was absolutely crapping myself that day and was doing a delivery in Poole..
I had the radio on all day... asking people to keep in touch ...... They did bless them ...
Then the good news came through ..
THIS AMAZING FOOTBALL CLUB HAD BEEN SAVED BY 4 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BLOKES AND PALACE BLOKES...
I bibbed my horn Cried waved my Palace scarf out the window then (stuck in a jam) jumped out of the van and had a little run around in the road shouting Eeeaagles and waving my scarf around my head...
So OK we are not some billy big Bollox club with a Russian arms dealer in charge but we are a club built on honour, honesty and love....
There is something about Crystal Palace fc that makes us SPECIAL and Unique and this Amazon series brings it to front...
When Eagles Dare just gives back to us all those special moments and its got to be up for a Bafta..
My honest special moment is Delaney and Ramage at Wembley and I watched it on the screen at the time..
Absolute friendship at its highest and this beautiful club gave Damien hope and support when he thought he was finished ... Watching hjs tears and his mate looking after him was just special...
We should have given Ramage a couple of games in the Prem just so he could have said he had got there even off the bench....
Jedinak and KG were giants and perfect together..
Still miss Yannick and his snake like skills..
Murray will always have my respect and we should never have lost him..
Alan lee .. Thank you so much...
Darren Ambrose thanks for youre amazing contribution and staggeringly awesome goals...
Julian Speroni .... An all time club Legend and a Palace hero forever...
But mostly and over all .. Parish,Browett,Long and Hoskings get Firstly .. My thanks.. My respect and admiration for keeping this part of me in existence..
This is a special club with a massive massive heart and an integral part of the south London/Croydon community ...
Finally .. Thanks Wilfried for all those special brilliant moments you gave us... If you do leave us I really hope its for some massive club like PSG, Brian Munich or Real Madrid or Barca where you will shine ..

Have seen the trailer of the fans marching too..your post brought both tears and goosebumps! Just like when the fabulous 4 were presented on the pitch before our first home match after they bailed us out.
Long, long live our wonderful club and also, a special mention to that lovely lady photographer Hy Money and her book: "Hy on Palace."

We have been among the favorites for the drop virtually each season since promotion by the armchair manager class, i.e. pundits & bookies. The “Chief Football Editor” at BBC.com had Palace 18th. Nothing makes me happier than having that bunch eat crow.

As far as the “£1.2 bn quid” goes, where do you think CPFC got the money to raise the academy to Class 1 status & then achieve promotion at the Under-23 level for the first time asking? Where did the money come from to draw up the plans for the Main Stand Redevelopment, which is being blocked by Sainsbury’s? I’m sure the legal fees alone are approaching if not already reaching tens of millions. Liverpool held us up for a king’s ransom for both Benteke & Sakho. Yes we recouped on the AWB & Yala sales but at best Palace has made an overall negligible profit on transfers plus the salary budget has risen significantly.

We are Crystal Palace. The armchair class never liked us. Why should we care?

Hi - I am in New Zealand, and unfortunately Amazon Prime states that the documentary isn't available in my location. And Amazon won't let me use a VPN. Does anyone have any tips for getting around this? Thank you, Simon.

Weird - I’m in Auckland and works fine. Hope it’s sorted for you mate.

I'm at episode 2...watching with my 10 yo.

Can anyone who's watched it all outline why it might be rated a 15?

So far just the odd light swear word.
