Yeah you could leave and go back to Wisbech... Leaving Wisbech for Cornwall rates as one of the best decisions of my life. You might doubt it but I am actually well regarded and respected here. You are right though, bonfires aren't good for the environment, although we still burn a lot of wood in our logburners here. I think the occasional one for a special occasion can be forgiven, especially when it discourages pests.

Whatever - meantime you’re happily making yourself look like the idiot you clearly are..!! COYP No need to stand back. That you are feeling abused and getting prickly is not my problem. You did make a simple analysis of where we are and what needs to be done. That is my opinion and I stand by it. It was also my opinion that you come over like a glory hunter. I suggest that if you want to avoid that appearance you adjust your presentation accordingly and offer more reasoning and substance. I am quite comfortable if that makes me look like an idiot in your eyes because I don't trust your reasoning.

In fact I remain very calm here and generally manage to respond rationally to some pretty bad ad hominems of the sort you repeatedly think are arguments. That I use sarcasm on occasions to deflate pomposity and ridicule to expose hypocrisy is not to abuse anyone. Some though are unable to see the difference. Whether you can is something only you will know.

Explain that remark. Having lived in Cornwall for 25 years they are no stranger than anyone from outside Cornwall. At least we are in Tier 1 because we kept mainly to the rules unlike the arrogant so and so's elsewhere who think it's clever to carry on as if it doesn't affect them.

To return to the issue at hand. My concern is not with the start we have had - although our inability to put the ball in the net is a concern, but we have now been in the Premier League for a good few years and seem to struggle to push on. We don't seem to have established ourselves. We still go from the brilliant to the woeful with little in between and maybe just a season or two of mid table security would be boring but nice? I get the dull football to grind out a result but we will never win a game as long as its Crystal Palace 0. Maybe we need a seperate coach for the forwards?

If that isn’t the very definition of arrogance then I don’t know what is. It is perhaps not a coincidence that the two biggest know it alls on here are both in Cornwall. Enjoy your locals favourite game of eye spy with my middle eye.
