Did anyone else have their prime on their tv pack up? I'm having to watch it on my phone as the tv just wouldn't show prime. Bloody annoying as it was working fine at 7.30, then when I tried to turn over after getting the kids away from the tv it didn't want to know about it. Sack of sh1t, fortunately sounds like I've not missed much.

My tv prime been ok all evening except for some dodgy sound before KO.

Defensive we are doing OK, although the mistake from Dann could have cost us.

Offensively we have exactly ONE idea - pass the ball to Zaha.

He isn’t there.

Schlupp looking as good as anyone. He’s not afraid to run at Newcastle and has plenty of aggression.

All going to the manager's master plan - just stop them scoring and hope some miracle will gift us a goal.

Not eaxcty the match from hell but not far off it.

As before, no creativity at all, abysmal passing and forwards not making any space - not that there is anyone in midfield capable of passing to them.

If we had Shelvey we might have a chance. Whichever way it goes negativity will win out, probably lose out for us.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

Dann is doing his best to gift the game. 2 horrendous passes that have offered clear cut chances. Luckily Joelinton is the modem day Akinbiyi.

Terrible selection yet again but Woy. Townsend is a complete waste with nobody to cross to. Either play Townsend & Benteke or neither.

First goal wins tonight.

Only solace is that Newcastle look crap too.. but we’re playing enough abysmal passes to gift them a winner at some stage.

Need to find a way through to goal second half but history suggests odds are slim to none.

That’s also my view of the 1st half - there’s been more than one bad pass by us at the back which could have us more than one goal down :-(

My Prime isn't working on the TV, just get an error code so watching on my tablet.

Half tempted to sack it off though. Our attacking play is insipid.

We really don't know how to open up any team that drops off and let us have the ball.

The second quarter of this game was similar to the second half of the Burnley game in that respect.

Dare I say we could do with Big Ben on. We need a target to hit upfront. At least he can hold the ball up for others to run on to. He will also fluke one, sometime sooner or later

For goodness sake Mr Hodgson change it about and don't leave it to the last 15 minutes.

Bring on Benteke for Ayew and swap over Townsend to the left - or something !

Playing well enough but lacking a focal point upfront. Benteke must come on and then with Eze Schlupp and Andros things will open up. Well in my opinion anyway. COYP
