The same joke of a rule which we benefited from last week has killed us in that half. You do wonder if these rule makers have ever played football themselves.

Surely indirect freekick would be fairer and penalties only for clear intention.

In this case the header was either going to the keeper or Calvert-Lewin who was offside. So a penalty seems unbelievably harsh.

On the bright side we are performing quite well against a very skilled and motivated side but agreed this handball rule is going to bring about a lot of undeserved goals.

It's a fair point. Players should start gaming this and just start smashing the ball at defenders arms rather than the goal.

Stupid rule and I don't see what it is trying to remdeiate.

We need to be more physical, seems we're always "bullied" off the ball (the few occasions we've had it).

We saw the reviews the referee was shown and they were all slow-mo.

Think it should be in normal time only.

It just seems that if the ball strikes your hand it's a penalty no matter what.

Unfortunately if your hand/arm is extended away from the body chances are a penalty will be given.

Yeah they bring in VAR to simplify matters and it just adds a whole new type of problem and subjective decision making.

This style really doesn’t suit Ayew.

Crying out for a proper frontman.
