This is a pivotal time for cpfc in my opinion. Time to sort Zaha fiasco out once and for all ! Either cash in or build team around him .We need to invest this summer no doubt or we will be relegated next year for sure.We have an ageing squad, looks like no real talent emerging from within and Roy has done well but not the future. From this moment on we need to upgrade and improve.

In the few times it's been tried before, that has failed.

You need to cut out the old manager to give the new one a fair crack at the whip.

3 years is a good innings for a manage who was always going to be a temporary solution. He's currently the 8th longest serving manager in the premier league. Every manager that has heald there post for longer has either won the league or promotion with their respective clubs.

For me Roy’s done a decent job BUT he doesn’t give the young players a go until he’s forced to... look at Wan Bissaka... Mitchell seems to be interesting Tottenham so I suggest he gives him a go ASAP.. we need to find out about these players! Also he has never given long runs to Riedewald, Meyer or Sörloth .. that’s the only to find out if they’re good enough! I hope Ferguson goes pretty much straight into the team , the good thing about him is he’s versatile, can play both Full Back positions and at Centre Back.. will be a top signing!!

That's what you'll say when you see Selhurst with the new main stand.

Time for Roy to go. He's done well for us but like so many on here I'm bored to death by the tedious football he wants to play. Fact is he's old, looks older and his approach is old and stuck in the past. A younger and more dynamic manager is needed. Eddie Howe has done wonders for Bournemouth and might be available if they go down.

Eddie was lined up to be our manager but he decided to go to Burnley instead.

His signings at Burnley included Danny Ings, Charlie Austin, Kieran Trippier and the Burnley scorer the other night Ben Mee.

Why would we go for a young Manager like Howe, who has run out of ideas and taken Bournemouth down. When you have Roy, who will keep us up?
Doesn’t make any logical sense.

Agreed he looks like a rabbit in the headlights. He may come again but I would rather it not be with us.

I think it ultimately boils down to parish and his team advising him.

Yes, realistically Hodgson should be relieved this summer, a hand shake a and a thank you and replaced with a manager we would hope see us transition into an entertaining mid table club that bring through youth.

Do I trust parish to deliver that? His records so far say no.

Sure, he has cleaned up the accounts, but at the expense of the squad. understandable, but we can't sustain that, either luck helps us or deserts us and I feel we have had a huge slice of luck of our time in the prem.

People behind the scenes need to improve our scouting and youth structure. That should be a priority.

Our club also needs to be de aged.. a two year window should be given for this - this summer, release dead wood and trust younger players.

Meyer should be in the line up with wilf money spent on additions to accommodate and a plan b.

Yes, it's risky, but I feel we have enough in the bank so to speak to not be relegated.

I have always said, when you are in the richest league in the world, if you were to be relegated, only a fool would leave in a worse off situation.

I agree I think he has been overhyped by the media as he is a young English manager. If Roy went I would like to see Dyche. Not so different to Roy but younger and may have a plan B. Burnley were so well organised, a good job interview conducted
