Big Ben could be fit for Arsenal apparently - [Link] I think having anyone fit is a bonus atm whatever your view on Benteke is!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Here's a theory. We have so many injuries because Roy has overplayed some players week-in-week-out to the point of injury. The others who have not played any games until recently are not conditioned to last 90minutes and are also picking up injuries. This is a failure to manage the condition of the entire squad.

As I have mentioned before 'conditioning' is 100% down to Scott Guyett. While it's possible Roy doesn't allow him to do certain things (like full warm-downs after matches), I maintain the opinion that our injuries are not accidental or coincidental. As for "..over playing", let's look at the stats: We've had two cup games and our capitulation in these means we will play our fewest ever matches in a season. So for all those injured players, quite how they can be described as 'over played' is an outrageous comment. If they were played when carrying an injury, then shame on Scott, Roy and the board for putting us in this position. What we 100% cannot claim is that we have played too many matches and been very 'unlucky' with injuries.

Thanks for putting the meat on the bones, bazza. However, if Scott Guyett is one of Roy's team, then it's 100% Roy's responsibility to make sure he has the right conditioning coach. That's management, baby. Is is peculiar all these injuries though, right? Not all freak accidents but lots of hobbling off with pulls and strains. All that stuff is avoidable with the right conditioning.

My son and I both laugh at Scott’s substitute warm ups before game and at half time. It literally looks so non league. How many visiting teams have their subs sprinting at half time ...none, yet our subs do. You can almost see the smirks on their faces...at how naff his coaching/ warm ups are ! Embarrassing...yet makes me laugh
