Meh, had a decent chance against a weakened City team but going forward, they're still several classes above us. Luka has been disappointing this season and did not improve today. Worrying.

Citeh are obviously a good team, but the amount of respect and negative tactics we play against the so called "big teams" is shocking. It's as if RH has a pre-arranged agreement in his mind and cannot deviate from it.

Agreed, he had a decent game today. But for a couple of excellent saves by Ederson it could have been 2-2. That being said, it was a fair result given the game overall.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

Routine win for them. Looked fairly conservative in their attacks and looked like they had a few more gears if needed. Goalie made some good saves when required. Unfortunately we couldn't get at them after the quick 2 goals but we did not take a pasting. COYP !!

Suspect Roy will be reasonably content to keep it down to 2-0.

Gave it a go in the last 15 and the players all put in a shift. If you feel entitled to more then maybe Palace are not the team for you. Shame Benteke's first touch didn't quite go in. On to the Arsenal game next week where I hope we'll give them a good run for their money. Edited by samprior (19 Oct 2019 7.38pm)
