Or another case of Roy being petulant because Camarasa was not actually a player he identified. I wish people would see through this 'Roy is such a gentleman' facade! Anyone who saw his after match interview with that reporter when he was West Brom manager can agree with this. He will make Camarasa rot until January

The big issue might be that the man himself says his best position is playing behind a striker, but the way we are setting up is 9 men in our own half, Ayew on the halfway line and Wilf pottering about where he sees fit. Last season for Cardiff he actually looked like he puts in a shift, so I would rather see him coming off the bench than Tekkers. If he doesn't get into the team by January then surely he'll leave. You can't complain about our results this season, but I'm struggling not to complain about how unentertaining it has been to watch at times and I'm still clinging to the distant hope that Camarasa can be a shining light. The fact that he has been fined for missing a training session wouldn't have done his cause much good. Sakho also been fined

Apparently, Roy was offered about 5 different right backs during the summer and didn't want any of them. Though, I never heard who he actually wanted. But, if true, this does illustrate the issues surrounding having a 'director of football'. The manager doesn't get to choose the players, they are just the coach nowadays. Even Pochettino said that recently at Spurs.

He has said, he was difficult to manage, always has his own physio and medical team with him and they told Warnock when he can train and when he cant.

He has said, he was difficult to manage, always has his own physio and medical team with him and they told Warnock when he can train and when he cant. True in Feb, Warnock questioned an injury concerning him. However he did say that he "oozed class" after scoring against the Spammers in a 2-0 win. Also the issues in Feb were widely circulated then, so we knew what type of player we were getting. To be honest our midfield looks defensive at the core with the fringe looking attacking and this guy filling the latter than the former. Somebody clearly sees potential within the club but where that can be fulfilled is anybodies guess, with him glued to his sofa matchday let alone the bench. Maybe him and Meyer are more useful on the training ground than at Selhurst ?

COYP If you look at the squad and recent spend we've no right to consider top ten. Roy's got us well organised, confident in possession and not conceding a lot of goals which is generally what the game is about for a club of our stature.

Real Betis are 3rd from bottom of Spanish league and don’t want him; he can’t get near our squad let alone starting 11. Something doesn’t add up with this fella.
