I'm surprised there's negativity surrounding him. I think he's looked quality every time he's played. He's been the only outstanding central midfielder this season in my opinion. Skilful, moves the ball quickly, pops up in good positions. Looks a genuine threat when on the pitch. Kouyate on the other hand, I haven't worked out his role yet. He seems a poor mans Luka and Luka has been poor. One of the first names on the team sheet for me. Should be playing behind the striker/strikers

I would say he needs a little more time to gel with our forward players, but i would also say that our existing players need to gel more to him than the other way around. He has vision for sure, but currently we are not sharing that vision, as people are not being where he wants/expects them to be.

It's obvious he's a class act,and potentially he could be a fantastic buy, but it's too early to say.

a clue for me is he is the player wilf looks to play with when they are on the pitch together, last season more often than not wilf looked towards RLC, this season its meyer. speaks volumes as to who our best player looks to for 1-2’s in tight situations etc.

Whilst left side of a 442 doesn't look like his game also very underwhelmed by his impact. Another steady central midfield player.

Meyer isn't great, but he's possibly our best midfielder by default. Luka and Mac have been absolutely useless this year. If we had anyone of quality in midfield we could get away with having terrible forwards, but unfortunately outside of Zaha, we have no quality at forward or midfield. Hard to compete with that.

Sorry but he was the worst player on the pitch at Chelsea and didn't do anything more yesterday.
