This is something that will happen, maybe in time for next season. The current forum software works perfectly fine but is outdated and myself and Guntri are working hard to create a better site for the future. Having to spend time to deal with bickering on the boards takes us both away from doing that.

And as Midlands has said, only one person was banned. Two others asked for their accounts to be deactivated. You can bet that they will re-sign up under different names again soon.

I agree. For some reason, people don't seem to respect others just because they hold different views.
That said, Word up did send me half a dozen PMs before he left banging on about free speech. I have no idea why he thought telling me about it was any use. He exercised his freedom and buggered off.

In answer to the thread title, this site's been here longer than most posters' tenure which is testimony to it being pretty well run in my opinion. Some flounce, some stick around, some only post when they have the time or inclination, but all of us are only drawn to the site in the first place because we're Palace.
