What is so wrong with having an organised side, playing to its strengths and the strengths of the playing staff. You People need a reality check, Allardyce has forgotten more about being a manager than AP will ever know, and Pulis is also light years ahead of Pardew in terms of organising a team. take the West Brom game at home to Burnley, we huffed and puffed and lost 3-2 to a goal so easily avoidable it was almost like we threw the game on purpose.

West Brom hammer them 4-0 by tough and organised defending high work rate and tempo and hitting Burnley on the break.

Look, I appluad AP's ethos, but it only works if you have the players with the physical stamina and technical ability to pull it off, we simply do not have the playing staff to play that way, we are however perfectly placed to defend and hit teams on the counter with pace down both flanks and a good target man in the middle.

But with these slow sideways keep ball sessions in our own third, teams are allowed to get themselves set, two banks of four, and by the time we get there we have to pass through 8 players and we simpply are not good enough.

Fat Sam with his experience, IMO would change our fortunes almost over night, not because he is a master tactician, or a stunning coach on the world stage, no, he will do it by playing to his strengths, doing what he knows best, but mainly he will do it by simply being no where near as bad as AP.

Really hope I am wrong but I got a bad feeling about Saturdays game - can honestly see it ending 2:1.

Have a feeling we will beat Swansea 3-1, we are not playing that bad, and certainly better than Swansea at present, just need a bit of luck to fall our way. I cannot see Parish sacking Pardew, he loves people with Palace connections at the club, and would cost a bomb to out him! COYP!!!

Aside from managing the finances, succession planning is one of the most important jobs for the man at the top. I just hope that we aren't restricting our considerations only to those with CPFC on their CV.
