Luckily it's not our job to worry about that. You'd hope that the club has people dealing with it though. One thing that is for sure. As a premier league club based in the capital, we should be able to cast our net far and wide. who could fo a better job brent? please enlighten me. as obviously you & i have no idea if the club are even thinking of sacking pardew or talking to other candidates, but just for s***s & giggles please explain!

What is so wrong with having an organised side, playing to its strengths and the strengths of the playing staff. You People need a reality check, Allardyce has forgotten more about being a manager than AP will ever know, and Pulis is also light years ahead of Pardew in terms of organising a team. take the West Brom game at home to Burnley, we huffed and puffed and lost 3-2 to a goal so easily avoidable it was almost like we threw the game on purpose. West Brom hammer them 4-0 by tough and organised defending high work rate and tempo and hitting Burnley on the break. Look, I appluad AP's ethos, but it only works if you have the players with the physical stamina and technical ability to pull it off, we simply do not have the playing staff to play that way, we are however perfectly placed to defend and hit teams on the counter with pace down both flanks and a good target man in the middle. But with these slow sideways keep ball sessions in our own third, teams are allowed to get themselves set, two banks of four, and by the time we get there we have to pass through 8 players and we simpply are not good enough. fast passing release wingers early get support from midfield and do what we do best. It's really not rocket science, and when AP has given a team 45 mins head start with his own brand of bollicks, he reverts back to what we are good at, and we give those same teams that hammered us in the first half, a bloody good game, but it's to late, because we are normally behind by the time AP (Arrogant Prick) decides to let the team play to their strengths. Fat Sam with his experience, IMO would change our fortunes almost over night, not because he is a master tactician, or a stunning coach on the world stage, no, he will do it by playing to his strengths, doing what he knows best, but mainly he will do it by simply being no where near as bad as AP.

danny. what makes you think that big crooked sam would be any vetter than pardew as a crystal palace manager? over both of their careers pardew actually has a better win percentage than big sam!! and if all that matters is points in the board then surely sam fuxkig alladyce would be a step down from pardew? right?

BUT, if you want someone sacked, dropped etc, is it unreasonable to assume that it's because you think someone else would do the job better rather than anyone else would do it better? I really don't want him gone but unfortunately, it's looking like it's reaching tipping point, unless he can get three more wins before Christmas, which is what we really need to maintain a chance of survival.

I don't think a tipping point will be reached as far as the board is concerned should we lose at Swansea.

Have a feeling we will beat Swansea 3-1, we are not playing that bad, and certainly better than Swansea at present, just need a bit of luck to fall our way. I cannot see Parish sacking Pardew, he loves people with Palace connections at the club, and would cost a bomb to out him! COYP!!!

Agreed but it's the function of the chairman to plan for eventualities and Parish would be failing in his duties if he wasn't planning for the eventuality of losing his manager even if he doesn't fire him.
