Why is someone who happens to have very firm views automatically a moron? Big mistake to think that. That statement is just my opinion, I didn't provide reasons and won't go into much detail here. The reason I didn't provide reasons is because I thought that the thread topic was being diluted into "To what degree are Trump's views idiotic", rather than considering (lack of) coverage of Hillary Clinton. This diversion is fundamentally petty and diluted. Another example of pettiness would be for me to try and take apart your description of Trump's views as 'firm' in response to my initial post. That word is so vague it could mean anything and to suggest that from my post on Clinton that I'm against the whole concept of 'firm views', whatever you mean by that is absurd and reinforces my point. Out of interest, did you watch (I appreciate you are in Germany) Newsnight's nightly coverage of the Democratic Convention last week,and/or their feature "Does The US Public Trust Hillary Clinton?" I saw a feature about that somewhere (didn't actually watch the footage however) and there has certainly been coverage of the Sanders supporters. I still hope for more, but will check out the Newsnight report.

Perhaps he's a moron because he's a moron, not automatically just because he has firm views?Though personally,I think he's a dangerous and clever person who spouts nasty populist moronic sh+t to gain votes...and changes his views at times to suit the situation Though, reading the below, perhaps, yup, he is a moron?

Anyone who has a TV will see a constant stream of left wing bias. I watched The Wright Stuff on Channel 5 this morning and the left wing bias was staggering. What happened to balance? There no point in arguing that the tabloids are Right wing because their circulation is tiny in comparison to television viewers. F**k me have you ever been subjected to Sky News on a regular basis? And if you think a Blairite / US Democrat party style bias is "left wing", then I'd hate to see what you'd consider to be off to the Right of your position!

And of course And really, you think Donald Trump will give 2 hoots about what a foreign news broadcaster is saying? Of course not. Also, apologies if it sounded like I was accusing you of being hard right- not my intention. I merely meant the hard right and hard left (in general) both think the BBC are biased against them. There is no anti Corbyn language in those articles. Are you seriously suggesting that Trump has been treated fairly by the BBC......As for what Trump thinks...that isn't the point, what is the point is the intrinsic balance of the BBC....Trump isn't Hitler but from how they portray him you could be forgiven for thinking he was. The only thing I would agree with is that the BBC have given more air time to Corbyn's critics.....though his supporters have had far far far more airtime than any pushback from Trump supporters.

To compare Trump with Hitler is not lunacy. Both share absurd haircuts, both express racist views, both spoke publicly through angry tirades, both are sexist and misogynistic, both appealed the lowest common denominator and both are rabid power mongers. The BBC isn't biased against Trump, it's only reporting what's out there. We all need to hope and pray the madman doesn't win. You are clearly absurd. In that sense you share more in common with Trump than you realise.

There is no such thing as unbiased media. Choosing an angle is bias and is their Adam-Eve.

Is it lunacy or absurd to have grave misgivings about a man such as Trump who has expressed some of the most repulsive political opinions I have ever heard in a modern democracy? Why do you defend him? It's clear that it is you who much in common with Trump. Can I suggest that you outline which of his polices you agree with and support so we can all be clear about your political opinions.

Its a bit unfair on Hitler, the National Socialist party, for all its evils, did actually have policies and ideals for which they stood and campaigned on, and did albeit briefly succeed in dragging Germany out of the mother of economic depressions and establishing it as a major world power in a surprisingly short time frame. Granted they were about as close to evil as you can get. So, that's how bad Trump is, even the Nazi party compare preferably. Trump's end goal is Trump and his kind, and f**k anyone else.
