Agree this one just seems odd. I am not sure what we can offer him unless he is either unhappy (which doesn't seem to be the case) or is desperate to move to London.

This transfer will only happen if Swansea have a policy of selling plus thirty year old players. He's very good but there would be no re-sale value. If monk has a younger centre half lined up he may sanction the sale. I doubt this very much mind.

One thing that may lure him....money. At his age it's now or never to get that big money move. He hasn't asked for a transfer so would be entitled to a substantial signing on fee.
