Quite a few ladies have testified so far. I would have thought this could have been dismissed as collusion a few years ago (what with no evidence: photos, DNA, witness accounts) However, after Max Clifford being banged-up on a few victims testimonies, I would have to say that I also think Rolf will be spending time at her Majesties leasure,..and this time he won't be portrait painting her. Is it just me, but when you see the 'artists impression' of the courtroom drama, Do you think ,"I wonder if Rolf could have done it better than that ?" You'd have to show reason for colluson. Some of the witnesses have witnesses putting them in the same room, right location etc - and some of them seem to have old letters etc with details in. Independently, its very much a he said, she said. But when you have multiple charges, with similar patterns and characteristics, then the chances of a not guilty verdict on reasonable doubt is reduced. One or two people independently coming forward could be collusion or coinicidence. When you get a lot of independent witnesses, claiming the same thing - thats a much stronger case. The Police and CPS will likely have investigated for possible collusion or relationships between the victims. Ultimately you have to convince enough members of the jury, beyond reasonable doubt (or the judge instructs the jury to find the accused not guilty, orders a retrial, mistrial etc). From whats been coming out, I think his Didgeriedoo is fiddley done. Quite harrowing stuff.

The bloke got away with it for decades, maintained a high profile career, and will probably spend a few of his last years in prison. Most likely, he'll be out in a year and a half or so either on parole or health grounds. Even if he spends the rest of his life in prison, its probably what five years, for serial sexual offences against minors. I doubt he's locked up in with the serious lags either (due to his health and age).

Anyone else think it's a bit odd seeing the artist's impression of Rolf Harris in the witness box. Someone doing a sketch of Rolf....."have you guessed what it is yet?" Wonder if they'll end up on e bay?
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

Harris, bizarrely, sings 'jake the peg' to the jury. That is flippin' strange. On every level.
