What does moving upstairs mean? To do what exactly?

He will need a Stannah, seriously though it is obvious, Roy, Ray and Paddy, Paddy staying joint assistant and learning from both until he is ready to take over, his U21 knowledge will be superb for bringing the young guys through, and know outlay, a win win.

It's made it harder to predict who'll be next whilst Roy does well. Makes me think the players respond to a father figure rather than a mate. Whether that's right or not I have no idea. I would have liked a young manager but perhaps we better go with experience.

Graham Potter gets my vote. He's got bags of experience and did brilliantly at Brighton. He got overwhelmed a bit at Chelsea, and may be better suited to a 'smaller club' like Palace where expectations are lower?

Brighton under Potter were toothless. All talk no trousers just like Chelsea were with him in charge.

Neither of whom, I suspect, would be remotely interested in taking up the reins at our club.

Why’s that.? A team that’s been in the premier league for 10 years based in London.
Rogers is out of work.
Where do you think the Celtic boss would go next, Real Madrid? He’s managed in Australia, Greece, Japan and Scotland.

Having managed clubs such as Liverpool and Celtic, I very much doubt that messrs Rodgers and Postecoglu would be interested in the role at our club.
Celtic where Postecoglu currently manages will be in the Champions League next season.

We might have been in the PL for 10 years and are based in London but we do not have that aura to attract managers who have plied their trade at such a level. I am not being disrespectful to our club, I am just trying to introduce a dose of realism.

There's a lot that could happen between now and the end of the season but as others have pointed out football management isn't a long term game and I find the ageism extraordinary.

Roy and Ray have clearly got more knowledge and grey matter than most half their age.

Ultimately the Board will care most about their investment and after getting their fingers burned a few times now there'll hopefully no more silly vanity projects around boring possession based football.

Interesting that Roy told the players to stop Fvcking around and be more direct yesterday.

Since Liverpool. Rogers has been released by Leicester who have 8 games to get enough points to stay up.
Celtic will be out of the champions league straight away, then apart from the games against rangers it will be st mirren and hibs.

One of my mates used to have a few quid, good looking f*cker and had a go on jamie rednapps ex wife. He’s fat now lives in a caravan and is banging a bingo caller from Mecca bingo.
You take what you are offered.

Good to be realistic, Willo. To be honest, the transformation under Roy and Ray has been dramatic, and I'd have no objection if Roy and Ray were given another season to overview the summer comingsand goings? If Parish does opt for a younger manager, then Cooper or Potter would be on my shortlist
