We need another 7 wins to stay up and this should be one of them. I don't know what we find so difficult about beating the teams below us but as usual, we are running out of candidates.

Recent history is:
Last season only Liverpool had a better record against the six teams that finished below us than Palace (our record was W8-D3-L1)
The previous season our record against the 8 teams that finished below us was W9-D3-L4.
Our current record against the 5 teams below us is W2-D1-L1. WE, of course, are due to play the 5th team tomorrow.

Sorry, Henry, but I don't equate that record as having difficulty beating the teams below us.

I wonder if Luka will start today.
The newspapers are running a story that he and Mitrovic were partying on New Year’s Eve and the club is investigating the situation.
Fulham of course postponed their last game because of the virus .
In a strange way it may assist if he is absent, as we often look more fluid in midfield when he doesn’t play.

I will put my faith in the team today and predict a narrow Palace victory 1-0.
If we lose with a pathetic performance I predict I will post on the "Roy out" thread calling for his sacking.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

I can’t see him being in the squad let alone start. He has already had to miss games because of quarantine and now this. He has no excuse.

He has not scored in 12 PL appearances for the club, so if he gets on the pitch tomorrow there is every chance he will open his account against us!
I just have a hunch he will be selected to start.

Probably will score against us as we limp to a 1-0 home defeat to continue our downward spiral.Instead of being on the front foot from the start,we will show this abysmal side too much respect and gift a first win.
Difficult to under how SP is allowing this to happen.

A Palace loss and a Brighton win today (both feasible) would mean Brighton move to within 3 points of us. Some say Brighton are a poor side who play fancy football with no end product. I don't recall them conceding 10 in 2 games. Burnley (at home to Fulham tomorrow) on the other hand have a game in hand, which if won would put them on the same points as us. We've picked up 3 points in the last 5 games; the slide down the table is slow but sure. A win today is vital.

Should this come to pass, HOL will be a mass of snarling Rottweilers with dripping fangs.
There will be hyperventilating,self-combustion with nostrils flared akin to two open drainpipes.

Do you really need to post the same stuff ten times over before EVERY game?!

Fulham have a depleted squad due to positive COVID tests and self isolation. I wouldn’t be surprised if this game is called off but if it goes ahead Burnley should pick up the 3 points.
