I don’t, I’d rather see him to PSG or Bayern. I don’t want him playing against us and I definitely don’t want him at the gooners although it is his most likely destination.

Even if we got £50m for Zaha, and even if we spent the lot on one player to whom we paid the same wage we currently pay Wilf, we couldn't replace him.

There isn't a single player we could sign to directly fill his boots. Regardless of his faults, he is a once in a generation talent for a club like ours.

That doesn't mean we can't live without him, but we would need a very different looking team, playing a different way.

My fear is that in pursuing that aim we'd do what spurs did when they got big money for Bale. They managed to lose their outstanding individual, spend all the money and end up with neither a direct replacement or a stronger team.

Arsenal sold Iwobi for £40m and bought Pepe for £72m - what is Wilf worth? What will we get?

Very worried for our future if he goes - feel like it will be like 1991 again.

Good point - although Iwobi was £28m rising to £35 and Pepe's fee is over 4 or 5 years.

Yes 1991 we fell apart without Wright and Coppell never had plan b although we did have a certain Stan Collymore on our books then.

I do think Eze was partly bought to play the No 10 role currently occupied by Wilf although wasn't played there recently when Wilf was absent.

Don't forget that 25% of the sale price will go to Manchester United

Sweet suffering Jesus above in heaven, I have seen it all now. You would like to see our best player move to one of our biggest rivals. You need to have a serious think about how ridiculous and shocking that sounds and maybe have a long walk in the rain to clear your head.

Agreed. I doubt TP is a Palace fan with a statement like that.

In what way do you see Arsenal as one of our biggest rivals apart from the fact that they play in the same league?

Yes you are correct, it is. I was overwhelmed with joy when Ian Wright joined them too. Nah, not really, we all know what happened next.

Demarai Gray is free to leave Leicester, May be an idea for those in recruitment to start getting that ball in motion regarding contact.

He is 24 has prem experience and would be a good fit and has flair and excitability on the wing.

With some of the Wilf funds I think this could be a worthwhile punt and capture.

Yes, used to like him but he seems to have faded into the background and I’m not sure why. He would be an average signing I reckon for us and I would prefer Sarr if Wilf goes.

I'd be very supportive if we were to move for him.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
