I know he hasn’t been the player we all hoped to see, but there must be a good footballer in their somewhere, you don’t play for the German national team if your a complete muppet. A change of scenery is probably best for both parties and I wish him all the best.

If he can't make the bench against Wolves tomorrow night, then for everybody's sake let him leave.

"The German's only appearance this season was in the League Cup at Bournemouth in September and he has been told by Hodgson that he would not stand in his way if he looked to move on. "He wants to play and needs to play," Hodgson said. "It is pretty obvious at the moment with the competition for places we have got here and the players I have been using, he has been marginalised. "I wouldn't be surprised if Max is knocking on the door to move on and if that is the case, I might have to reluctantly agree he has not been given the chances here to show what he could do, so if there is someone else that would give him that it would have to be considered." Move on Roy, keep Meyer on a one year contract so the next manager realises his potential, even Eden Hazard would never played for Palace under Roy!!

Mind you, Hazard has hardly blazed a trail in Madrid since his move there.
