Honestly, I'm not looking forward to watching this match. I can't remember many times, going back to last season, where we played really well. Like try to think of a match where we were clearly best, and we won easily. Never happens.

Leeds will have 70% possession. We'll park the bus, and hope to score a fluke goal, or get a penalty. It's the same thing ever game, no matter who we play.

If we fall behind 1-0, the match is over.

Sorry to be a downer, I'm just tired of this negative football. We shouldn't look this hopeless.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

The highest amount of possession they have had in a match in the PL this season has been 68%.
They have only kept a 'Clean sheet' in 2 of their 7 PL games.

Do you agree with the rest of what I wrote?

In the main I concur with your sentiments in terms of our performances and style of play.

Should this be the outcome on the back of another torrid performance, high-grade ordnance will be dropped on Hodgson from a great height.

I happen to believe a Leeds win with Bamford on the scoresheet is a very likely outcome.

Benteke brought on towards the end to try and rescue the situation only to see his shot clear the Holmesdale Stand.

I cannot believe that a couple of seasons ago people came on this fan site and were really quite unpleasant about Jordan Mutch. We should all realise that he was really trying his very best for Palace, and people should applaud him for that. Heaven knows how he would have felt if he had read those comments, I am sure he would have been somewhat disappointed.

Hopefully that has cheered some of you up. Oh and by the way, good old Alan Pardew, hooray for him too.

OK. Some posters on here may go OTT but they are fans. As for players or management reading this board I'd say that is most unlikely.
Seeing that the least well paid player is on about 10k a week, they have vastly different lifestyles - to me for one. So I wouldn't be too concerned for their sensibilities.

Still think there may be a 'whooosh' needed here.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Last time I saw us play Leeds at Selhurst was a long time ago. I specifically remember a goal line clearance by the hand Michael Duberry, which was neither given, or penalized and they got away with it.

Bore draw 1-1. Bamford to score against us whilst adjusting his hair.

I believe he said about 5 or 6 years ago, that he doesn't believe in NOT celebrating scoring against former clubs.

Was that at the time he averaged about 1 goal a season?
