Sorry, but no it isn’t. I was of exactly the same opinion whilst watching it live. You might favour one side of the goal slightly but WH could almost touch his post from where he was stood. He would never have a chance of saving anything that went over the wall into the opposite corner. Rubbish keeper that inspires zero confidence, I’ll be glad when he is gone.

I can never understand why if there is a wall, stand staggered with 1, 3 and 5 in front of 2 and 4.
2 and 4 can jump and 1,3 and 5 can move their feet across to cover the space. 2 and 4 can use the shoulders of 1,3 and 5 to jump higher.

A ball at 90mph travels at 132 feet per sec. 10 yards is 30 feet, so the wall has approx 0.23 second to react.

Yes he has his faults as all keepers have but he has wide experience at both PL an international level.

He didnt blame him, he merely pointed out that its unannimously agreed WH is no longer EPL standard.
