Good character from the team after an unlucky early setback and some decent pressing at times.

Agee - our corners are the worst and ineffective I have seen in 50 years of watching fottball! Roys position: Change nothing! That is bizarre.

Can someone tell me what our obsession is with these high floating corners??... Why has Roy not worked out yet that they clearly don't work!! God knows... it’s embarrassing really. Our corners are awful. Problem is, Luka always seems to get a goal from a free kick just as people are starting to get sick of his set pieces, buying him another 10 games or so. I can’t remember what game it was (not Palace), but the commentator said another club had hired a set piece coach. We need to do something similar. With Dann, Sakho, Benteke and Kouyate on the pitch or Kelly, Cahill, Tomkins when they are playing, you simply need to whip it in to them, beat the first man. We ALWAYS try to float one in, often to the back post for Dann to head it back across. Problem with that tactic is you suddenly need two good headers to score a goal instead of one. It’s frustrating because everyone can see it but the coaching staff. Scoring one goal in 150 odd corners is very, very concerning.

Giroud’s a good footballer but what a preening self-regarding ponce. Wilf’s on fire. Great to see.
